Our Mini-THON is a non-profit, annual fundraiser consisting of an 8-hour, no-sitting event. The participants are high school students of all grades (9-12), who raise a minimum amount in order to participate. Throughout the school year, student captains work diligently in soliciting donations and sponsorships from local businesses so that all of our participants have plenty of food and entertainment throughout the duration of the event. Some of the highlights of Mini-THON include family hour, the pillo-polo and basketball tournaments, the VIP Room, the lip-sync contest, and much more! Several families have graciously joined our ASHS mini-THON family, and they spend time with us during the event to share stories of the hardships pediatric cancer has caused their families. At the end of the evening, student captains raise the total amount of money fundraised and donated throughout the course of the entire year.
